  • Luminous, Empty, and Knowing
Ajahn Pasanno elaborates on the nature of mind that is free from the hindrances. It is luminous, empty of identity, and knowing. The Buddha likens it to clear water - unsullied by dye, heat, algae, wind or mud. The radiant, knowing mind does not have to mix with the experiences of the senses. Ajahn Pasanno provides some historical background on the lunar observance tradition. He then discusses the meaning of samsara as wandering on.
