The automated ball strike (ABS) system has made its debut in MLB games...but just Spring Training. Fans will get the opportunity to see how this affects the pace of play and whether it is an enjoyable addition to the national pastime. 

Only the pitcher, the catcher and the batter will have the opportunity to challenge a strike/ball by tapping on their head. Every team gets two challenges, which they lose when they are wrong and will keep if they are correct.
