Could the ACC end up expanding their conference by stealing teams away from the Big 12? An X user recently brought up a scenario where it would make financial sense for ESPN, the biggest TV partner for both conferences, to steer teams from the Big 12 over to the ACC in order to maximize their own profits. Is it safe to assume that ESPN wields this much power, or do the ACC and Big 12 have more autonomy than people give them credit for? Could schools like Utah and Arizona State really jump over to the ACC?
