This week’s Pit Pass Indy is a quick-hitting show that features the winner of the 47th Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach – Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden. He joins Pit Pass Indy host Bruce Martin to talk about winning the famed street race for the first time in his career. It was also his second-straight victory. Newgarden also won the March 20 XPEL 375 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Pit Pass Indy Host Bruce Martin also gives the latest update on seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, who sustained a broken right hand in a crash in practice at Long Beach on April 8. Johnson underwent successful surgery on the injured hand on April 11 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
