The Winds of Magic, sometimes called the Aethyr in the Elven tongue of Eltharin, known as the Elemental Winds in Grand Cathay or simply just as magic in everyday usage, is the name given by magic-users to the invisible currents of magical energy -- the very substance of Chaos -- which flow across the mortal world from the Realm of Chaos, which is also called the Aethyr, as the energy and the plane of its origin are one and the same.

Abaddon is having a brat summer, and by that, we mean he's getting absolutely humbled in the Siege of Terra.
Special guest TheAmberKing joins us to break down the massive mid-point of the Siege, covering Saturnine, Mortis, and Warhawk. We discuss Abaddon’s disastrous "Saturnine Gambit" (and his subsequent choking), the slow-walking dread of the Titan Legions, and the absolute Chad energy of Jaghatai Khan engaging Mortarion in single combat.
It’s the beginning of the end for the Traitors, and the White Scars are here to make sure they feel it.

The Horus Heresy has reached its endgame. Join us and special guest TheAmberKing for Part 1 of our complete Siege of Terra timeline!
In this episode, we break down the initial defense of the Sol System, starting with Rogal Dorn’s fortification of the Palace and the brutal Battle of Pluto. We cover the tragic duel between Dorn and Alpharius, the collapse of the defensive spheres during the Solar War, and the terrifying arrival of the Traitor Fleets. As the bombardment of Terra begins and the Lost and the Damned flood the trenches, the loyalists face impossible odds.

We found a Warhammer catalog from 30 years ago, and the miniatures are... interesting. Join us for a trip down memory lane as we react to the 1996 Citadel US Annual. We compare these vintage metal models to their modern counterparts to see just how much the hobby has evolved. Some of these sculpts are nostalgic classics, and some are absolute nightmare fuel. Let's discuss the massive glow-up of the Warhammer 40,000 range.

2025 might go down as the wildest year in Warhammer history. We are finally getting the heavy hitters we’ve been memeing about for a decade. Join the "greatest philosophers of our time" as we try to process the absolute flood of grimdark gaming content that is coming our way soon. Starting with the best miniatures of the year, then moving from minis to the strategy battle of the century (Total War 40k vs. Dawn of War 4) to the boomer shooter supremacy of Boltgun 2 - we are breaking down everything. Will Space Marine 3 live up to the Titus hype? Will the 11th edition actually be balanced? And how many hours will we lose to Warhammer Survivors?

Bjorn is not just a Space Wolf; in many respects, he is THE Space Wolf. From walking beside the Allfather himself during the Great Crusade to spending the last 10,000 years napping in a Dreadnought, Bjorn has a saga longer than the modern Imperium. In this episode, we cover the absolute unit that is Bjorn the Fell-Handed. We dive into his early days of accidentally shooting down Kasper Hawser (oopsies), his five-year hunt for the demon Arvax to avenge his pack, and the conflicting sources on how exactly he lost his hand—was it chopped off by Valdor or lost to a demon on Prospero?. But it’s not all ancient history. We also break down the Battle of the Fang, where a very angry, freshly-woken Bjorn decided to treat a Daemon Primarch like a piñata. Plus, we discuss the time he told the Inquisition to shove it, reminding them that calling the Emperor a "god" is exactly how this whole mess started.

In this episode, we dive into the lore of the Flesh Tearers—one of the oldest and most violent Space Marine chapters. They might wear the aquila, but between the "human blood farms" on Cretacia and their casual habit of slaughtering their own allies, the line between "Loyalist" and "Heretic" is looking a little blurry.
From the original Flesh Tearer, Nassir Amit (the man who told a traitor to "eat s**t" mid-duel), to the current Chapter Master Gabriel Seth, we’re covering why these sons of Sanguinius crave violence just as much as honor.

We finally did it. We read the most cursed, infamous, and absolutely unhinged trilogy in Warhammer 40,000 history: Ian Watson’s The Inquisition War.
Back in 1990, before the lore was established, Games Workshop tapped an award-winning sci-fi author to introduce the universe. The result? A disaster featuring Inquisitor Jaq Draco and a retinue that includes a Squat and an assassin who had surgery to transform into a "sexy" Genestealer.

In this anniversary episode, we suffer so you don't have to. We’re diving deep into the absolute madness.

Humanity was peaking during the Dark Age of Technology... until the robots revolted, the Warp storms hit, and the lights went out. Join us as we dive into the absolute dumpster fire that was the Age of Strife (Old Night), from the rise of the Men of Iron to the Techno-barbarian warlords ruling a radioactive Terra. It’s robots, demons, and anarchy, and as we discuss in the episode, it was definitely "not poggers" as the kids say.

With the release of Warhammer: The Old World and new lore books, we finally know the truth about what lies behind the Great Bastion. It turns out, the "Dragon Emperor" isn't just a fancy title. In this episode, we are heading East to uncover the history of the Celestial Dragon Xen Yang, his moon-born mate Quai Yin, and their children who walk among humans. We’re diving deep into the tragedy of the Spirit Dragon, why Cathay claims to have invented gunpowder before the Dwarfs (don't tell the Dawi), and the time Miao Ying brought a literal "Killdozer" fleet to the Old World to save the Empire from Chaos.
