Drone Privacy Laws - What You Need to Know

Today's question is about drone privacy laws. Are there any restrictions on drone pilots who wish to film in public places?

Our caller, Sebastian from North Carolina, has a question pertaining to drone privacy laws. Sebastian, after getting permission from the property owner, was out shooting a video of an outdoor cafe. All of a sudden, a woman came up to Sebastian and asked him to stop filming. According to the woman, Sebastian could not film her and her children without her consent. Is this true? Do drone privacy laws prevent Sebastian from shooting in public places?
