When Joanie's son came to her requesting to go to private school, she had no clue how her young family would be able to afford such a thing. With her husband traveling lots she was forced to come up with an unconventional way to earn money. She thought she'd give a multilevel marketing company a try. She gave herself a goal of trying hard for 6 months. Well, wouldn't you know it, she is still with an MLM! She knows it's not the path for everyone but she knows what she has to offer is a great product and that was what always kept her going when others wanted to judge her. She had something great to offer including herself! Joanie encourages others to get comfortable with being uncomfortable because that is where you will see you were actually growing and learning! Not everyday will be easy but it will be worth it. She also challenged us to constantly be growing a learning through books, daily readings, or motivational calendars/planners. She is truly a positive person still growing and challenging herself daily!

Why do we let the number on the scale determine our self worth? Lots of times this is referred to as "scale fail." We let that number say if we are failing or succeeding when actually we may see a change in our measurements. If you are trying to loose "marshmallow" as Joanne calls excess weight, she encourages you to get baseline measurements and consider food intolerances. Those food intolerances can lead to inflammation. If you see overnight weight gain changes are it's inflammation and not actual fat gain. Joanne has so much great knowledge to share with you all!
