Skyler and Evan are joined this week by Patrick Lyons to discuss the 2024 trade deadline... More specifically the Colorado Rockies and their inaction during said deadline. The Rockies made no moves on the day of the actual deadline and obtained just three prospects in exchange for Nick Mears and Jalen Beeks. Meanwhile the front office feeds us the same lines we usually hear about how contention is just around the corner despite not actually doing anything to help the Rockies fully rebuild and find a new contention window. Color us skeptical, but we just don't believe this is a team that will be competitive in 2025 after what will likely be back-to-back 100+ loss seasons. We wrap things up on a more positive note with Brenton Doyle running away with July Player of the Month and naming our July Pitcher of the Month.
