I hope that this episode brings awareness to the fact that even when it feels like a complete impossibility that one day alcohol will be an irrelevant part of your life. Imagining a future you where that’s the case can help you come out the other side.

In today's episode Lorna, a fellow This Naked Mind Sr. Certified Coach, and I share her story. Her ups and downs with attempting to exit the cycle as well as how she exited the cycle.
Listen in to this story because it will help you. You'll learn you aren't alone. You'll discover possibility and hope.
Lorna believes that each of us has a yearning to be fulfilled, a desire to feel safe and strong in the decisions we make, and a right to find a ‘clarity of purpose’ as we move through our lives. Through her own life experiences Lorna learned first-hand what alcohol can do to your body, mind and spirit.

When it comes to the impact alcohol has on our beautifully working human brains, there isn't a great deal of education. However what I've found work with my clients is this type of awareness brings them hope. A belief into the work of possibility for themselves. This simple shift helps them ease up on their internal shame and blame.
In today episode:
How coaching helped me: Hey there I’m Debi Talbert I’m so excited you are considering joining EXIT & Beyond Membership. I want to mention I’ve always had this passion for personal growth and development. I loved the things I was learning. The processes and applying them to my life, yet I found myself with this gap of how I wanted to live, yet not being able to do it consistently. Then I found Life Coaching and everything shifted. Coaching really closed the gap for me. The tools and processes helped me end my turbulent relationship with alcohol, find freedom, discover a joy for life I never that would be possible for me and help others do the same in their lives. My fellow flight attendant’s sitting next to me on the Jumpseat became some of my first clients. This is how I came up with my business name and the name for methodology.
My goal is to help you make alcohol a small and irrelevant part of your life. To discover more joy and happiness in life and your relationships. To have the tools and self confidence to navigate the salty parts of life while feeling empowered and capable. To openly experience all of your emotions. To relish the sweet parts of life. And to savior your entire experience of life.
If that sounds like something you want, I’d love to have you join. You’ll find all the details below. If you want all the tings I described but would rather have a private experience, then click the Start The Conversation button to book a Zoom chat with me.

There is a big gap between what people want and what people actually do when it comes to the topic of alcohol. Sadly, the big disconnect around this topic tends to blame the person. Most people stuck in the cycle of drinking and then over drinking end up blaming and shaming themselves.
Today I'm sharing with you the power of small.

In today's episode I'm going to teach you how to make decision from your future. It's a higher level of thinking. Remembering and repeating your past does not require as much of you as thinking from your future. I love the concept of thinking from our future. What would the you, that is already achieved, that has already become, that has already where you want to be, how would they make these decisions?
