Aicha Evans began her journey in tech by hacking the family’s long-distance phone to call friends in Paris. From there, with stops along the way to open a Senegalese restaurant and serve as Intel’s Chief Strategy Officer, Aicha is now the first non-founder CEO of autonomous vehicle company Zoox. She shares with Rene the biggest joys and challenges of both her current role and her career thus far. They also discuss the importance of transparency and trust in a safety-critical industry like Aicha’s.
