I like some of the people involved with 97.5 in Philly.

But, the radio station has zero chance of being a viable entity.

I like Jon Marks. I think he's a good radio guy.

But, I wonder if he has regret over leaving the most stable gig ever for this radio station...

We have audio of a guy who won the opportunity to call an inning of the Phillies game on the Phillies Radio Network.

I'd give my left nut to do this. I don't have the cash to do it. But, I do have both nuts and I'm willing to trade.

Anywho, this guy is taking the internet by storm.

There is no way this guy hasn't called a game before.

The latest radio company to whack a bunch of people is Cumulus.

I'm aware that I work for IHeart, but I do think it's pretty absurd that other companies don't get hammered as hard as when they whack people.

As I get older, I find it easier to realize that most athletes are morons.

That doesn't mean they are bad people, they are just dumb.

With podcasts booming, many of these dudes are looking to make a quick buck offering their services to podcasts.

I think that's what we have from former Big League hurler Lance Lynn. He clearly seems uninterested in his podcast. But, he's doing it because someone paid him.

First off, I just read that Jon Marks will be taking over the morning show on 97.5 The Fanatic.

I really like Jon. He's a good guy. But, that radio station continues to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Bob Costas was on the Rich Eisen Show. Talk about Smarm Fest 2026.
