How can you be sure that you are not living in some sort of a false or fabricated reality?

A great movie that tries to tackle this questions is The Truman Show. 

Let me say that if you haven’t seen the Truman Show I suggest you do, hell even if you have, it is worth watching again because next to the Matrix, and West World it is one of the best movies about questioning the nature of reality.
