Steven introduces Abner Larrieux, President of A.L. Consulting, Inc & Alacriti Capacity Analytics. Steven talks about how times are constantly changing and businesses have to adapt to keep afloat and to keep successful. He congratulates his guest and his company for thriving as times are changing and they continue to stay on top. Steven gives Abners scholarly background and how he has achieved all he has through his professional career. Abner tells how after his graduation from university he surrounded himself with government workers and found his passion in consulting.
Segment 2
Steven talks about the science behind the power of entrepreneurship. Abner talks about the market and how his company meets and advises clients with a plan. They have come up with a method that works in tandem with each company. Abner talks to the S&M businesses where they can connect and evaluate to help make valuable and important connections. Abner and his company have been able to digitize their works so they can keep updated and continue to expand. The message Abner stresses to corporations is that the individuals that are willing to do the hard work will create more open doors and will obtain jobs by recruiting. Abner explains that they want to change the perspective of recruits from degree bearing to talent and experience bearing when hiring.
Segment 3
Abner shares stories he has experienced on the field. He shares struggled with getting a company certified but through preserving they were able to get it done. Through their technology, they were able to score the company a 7 million dollar contract. Abner then elaborated on the confidence gap between women and men entrepreneurs. He tells that with the help from his company they have helped women-run companies grow and gain confidence and earn more in contracts. He says that the execution is more important than the outcome because that is where the hard work is put in.
Segment 4
Abner’s take home for the weekend is to not stay complacent and to build a network and community. He encourages entrepreneurs to be persistent and continue to build and find channels for their work because in the long run, it will work in their favor. He tells those small businesses need to gain connections for advice, partners, and aid for the future.
