Check out the Google Play book: "The Library of The New Testament Studies, Only the Third Heaven?" Book 313 by Paula Gooder. (☆Reposted☆..."In Chapter 1 Paula Gooder discusses the problems of interpreting this text and looks at the major debates of its past interpreters. The most popular modern approach is to compare it with other texts of ascent in the Judaeo-Christian tradition, yet even a brief examination of these texts indicate that differences are present. In the remainder of the book Gooder evaluates the extent and significance of these differences. Part One consists of a detailed consideration of a range of texts which superficially seem closest to 2 Corinthians 12. Chapter 2 presents a history of scholarship on heavenly ascent. Chapters 3 to 8 each examine a text of ascent from a different period and background in the Judaeo-Christian tradition. Chapter 9 draws out the points of similarity between these texts. Part Two considers the text of 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 in the light of the findings of Part One. In the detailed examination of the Pauline ascent in chapter 10, the extent of the differences between this text and the texts examined in Part One becomes clear. Chapter 11 proposes a new interpretation of the account of ascent, arguing that it reports a failed ascent into heaven. The chapter shows that this interpretation makes sense not only of 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 itself but also of chapters 10-13 which surround it. The account is one more example of weakness from the apostle in which he proves that weakness, not strength, is the sign of a true apostle." ☆End of Repost☆) For Educational Purposes Only & inspirational materials. In It’s Dangerous to Believe, Mary Eberstadt documents how people of faith—especially Christians who adhere to traditional religious beliefs—face widespread discrimination in today’s increasingly secular society. Eberstadt details how recent laws, court decisions, and intimidation on campuses and elsewhere threaten believers who fear losing their jobs, their communities, and their basic freedoms solely because of their convictions. They fear that their religious universities and colleges will capitulate to aggressive secularist demands. They fear that they and their families will be ostracized or will have to lose their religion because of mounting social and financial penalties for believing. They fear they won’t be able to maintain charitable operations that help the sick and feed the hungry.

Is this what we want for our country?

Religious freedom is a fundamental right, enshrined in the First Amendment. With It’s Dangerous to Believe Eberstadt calls attention to this growing bigotry and seeks to open the minds of secular liberals whose otherwise good intentions are transforming them into modern inquisitors. Not until these progressives live up to their own standards of tolerance and diversity, she reminds us, can we build the inclusive society America was meant to be." ((It's dangerous to believe," by Eberstadt.))

Check out Google Play Books, 'The Book of The Watchers:"☆☆("Found in the Qumran caves of the Dead Sea Scrolls (Qumran Cave 4), and presumed to be written before BC 170, chapters 1-36 of 1 Enoch are also referred to as The Book of the Watchers. These passages are also known to incorporate portions of the Book of Noah.

The theme of the Watchers is final judgement, and incorporates the expository background of one of the most spectacularly glossed-over, overlooked, and misunderstood Scriptures in the Bible - Genesis 6:1-4.

The "sons of God" referred to in Genesis 6:2 are explained in detail in The Book of the Watchers. These Watchers were supposed to be watching the earth as part of their heavenly ministry, but instead, they transgressed and became fallen angels.

How did they become fallen angels?

They saw that women on earth were pleasant to look at and schemed/colluded to somehow incarnate themselves, (literally celestial or, dare we say, 'extraterrestrial' beings manifesting in some kind of physical form), in order to impregnate women and corrupt the bloodline of humans.

The offspring of the Watchers (and their human mates) were what the bible calls "giants" or "Nephilim." These half-humans/half-fallen-angel hybrids were extremely wicked, and began eating everything and everybody! This is the reason, some scholars say, for God's sending the flood of Noah.

Additionally, The Book of the Watchers outlines how these fallen angels corrupted mankind by teaching them forbidden knowledge of weapon-making, sorcery, witchcraft, astrology, and other forbidden technologies.

Consequently, when the flood washed them all away, the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim became the unclean spirits (i.e. demons) we now have roaming the earth. (Luke 11: 24-26, Matthew 8:28-32).

All of these things and more are outlined in The Book of the Watchers.

We exhort you to keep your spiritual eyes, ears, and heart open as you dive into The Book of the Watchers and prayerfully consider its relevance today.

Keep "Watching!" (Matthew 25:13)

As much as 7,000 years older than the Great Pyramid and Stonehenge, its strange buildings and rings of T-shaped monoliths-built with stones weighing from 10 to 15 tons-show a level of sophistication and artistic achievement unmatched until the rise of the great civilizations of the ancient world, Sumer, Egypt, and Babylon. Chronicling his travels to Göbekli Tepe and surrounding sites, Andrew Collins details the layout, architecture, and exquisite relief carvings of ice age animals and human forms found at this 12,000-year-old megalithic complex, now recognized as the oldest stone architecture in the world. He explores how it was built as a reaction to a global cataclysm-the Great Flood in the Bible-and explains how it served as a gateway and map to the sky-world, the place of first creation, reached via a bright star in the constellation of Cygnus. He reveals those behind its construction as the Watchers of the Book of Enoch and the Anunnaki gods of Sumerian tradition. Unveiling Göbekli Tepe's foundational role in the rise of civilization, Collins shows how it is connected to humanity's creation in the Garden of Eden and the secrets Adam passed to his son Seth, the founder of an angelic race called the Sethites. In his search for Adam's legendary Cave of Treasures, the author discovers the Garden of Eden and the remains of the Tree of Life-in the same sacred region where Göbekli Tepe is being uncovered today."...☆☆End Reposted).
