During times of difficulty or conflict, we often shut down a precious resource for connection, compassion and gratitude. Feeling into our heart escapes us when we're faced with situations that make us feel afraid. Whether it's something happening in our family, community, or in the world, tending to our heart matters often gets pushed to the back of our minds. A daily practice of focused self-awareness of oneness, gratitude and compassion allows us to recapture these gifts of the heart. Renee will share how meditative practice can help you become fully present in the moment and allow you to experience these gifts for yourself. In this episode, we will explore why a meditative practice is important, different types of heart centered meditations and tips for starting your own meditation practice if you don't have one. Renee will take us through an opening of the heart meditation exercise.

Renee Ali, Founder of 'Your Best Life Coaching LLC, is a Certified Life Coach, Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor, Speaker, Veridatas Labyrinth Facilitator, Grief Specialist and Holistic Wellness Coach. Renee is passionate about teaching, speaking, conducting workshops and retreats that focus on spiritual transformation by using meditation, mindfulness, and walking meditation with labyrinths.
