The Supreme Court agreed today to review whether the former president can claim immunity in special counsel Jack Smith's election subversion case. The justices agreed to expedite the case and will hear arguments the week of April 22. The decision is a significant victory for Trump's team, as it further delays his federal trial. Prosecutors are asking the judge to impose a gag order in the New York hush money case to stop the former president from publicly disparaging potential witnesses and individuals involved in his upcoming criminal trial.
