Discussing the pressure of hustle culture and the practical challenges of everyday life, he concludes that it leads to unnecessary stress and efforts. Using life situations such as setting up for Thanksgiving, he shows the detailed lengths one can go when trying to do everything 'to the best of one's ability'. In an attempt to combat this perspective, he replaces the well-known maxim with 'If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right', arguing that it gives a more balanced and achievable expectation. Donnie also muses on the importance of not neglecting our key relationships and job while striving for perfection in everyday tasks.
