Book 5!!! Part 2! (Chapters 9-16)

Just turn it on! Chapman’s hidey hole. Thank you, Krat’s Creatures. Degrassi, but with ants. We suck cousin blood. Big A. Till the assholes return. KA Applegate is obsessed with fibers. The robust safety rope that is a mother’s love. The world’s smallest Yeerk, playing the world’s smallest violin. Human controllers and assistant principals= bad for property values. Ants are only cute if they’re small. Reality had a corner. Chris keeps accidentally broadcasting their ideas in thought speech and Eddy keeps stealing them. Meanwhile Miranda gets love drunk off the city bus and Marco can’t stop talking about his narrow waist. We’re left with many questions going into the finale of book 5: is Marco going to finally snap, or at least leave the Animorphs? is all the pressure causing Rachel to eat mechanically or maniacally? and will Jake and Marco finally settle once and for all that timeless boyhood question: who is the best basketball?

Book 5!!! Part 1! (Chapters 1-8)

Marco the adorable rascal battles bandits with bedazzled blades!! Sub tops, dom bottoms, and power tumblers; oh my! Andalites dying of wounds. Eddy wonders aloud if it’s appropriate to ride an Andalite whilst trying to get Chris to admit their non-existent desire to do so; they were simply fearing further admonishment from r/Animorphs!!! Miranda’s concern: where do you put your hands?? Hork-Bajir and Taxxon: the two genders. Do Andalites possess a special “Clothes Bladder”?? Our first “all twos” moment! Ax grows a weird mouth. The highest form of wuv. Crowds are just claustrophobic packs of meat sacks. The many uses of the human mouth (or “my new favorite listicle”). The Andalite language shouldn’t have sounds. Don’t knock our fleers!! Mall cops with guns. If lobsters could cry.
