Sam and Patrick talk about the incredible ease with which Marquette beat Providence Saturday, including discussing the scoring balance the team achieved thanks to stellar games from the Hausers and Sacar Anim. Then conversation shifts to Villanova, just what exactly is happening to them, and how we feel about Marquette's chances to clinch a share of the conference with a win in Philadelphia Wednesday.

It's a new era of The Anonymous Eagle Podcast (in what hopefully is a minor, non-front-facing way). Sam and Patrick discuss Marquette's first-place-claiming victory over Butler, which proved that Butler is a good matchup for the Golden Eagles. We then preview Marquette's Saturday showdown with Providence and then segue into general college basketball talk, focused on whether we think the Big 10 is actually good.

Sam and Patrick reconvene to discuss Marquette's glorious National Marquette Day victory over Villanova. We breakdown all the key elements from Saturday, and then briefly preview DePaul by saying don't lose to them. We then do some weird rants at the end of the pod, include another Illinois check in and declaring the pod extremely pro-Wofford.

Sam and Patrick emerged from the polar vortex, only to see Marquette beaten by a much redder storm in a home loss to St. John's.

We discuss the myriad mistakes made by Marquette in the loss, and consider whether the loss says more about Marquette's quality or the difficult matchup presented by St. John's. We then look forward to a huge National Marquette Day showdown with Villanova.

Sam and Patrick battle inclement weather conditions to pod remotely (sorry about the echo) and break down Marquette getting to the top 10 after two wins. The real question on everyone's minds that aren't already frozen: can Marquette finally win at Hinkle?

Sam and Patrick return to the microphone to discuss another ho hum, 2-0 week for Marquette basketball. We discuss Hauser, Hauser and Moar Hauser, the grittiness and long-term benefits of the win at Georgetown, erasing a sleepwalked first half against Providence with a flurry of offense and Joseph Chartouny's struggles. We then look ahead to this week and take stock of the Big East. Whatever you do folks, don't lose to DePaul.
