Today’s guest is KT McBratney, strategist, artist, and Co-Founder of Own Trail, a platform for women to bookmark meaningful milestones as they navigate their way through life.

Over the past five years, Lydia has built up a portfolio of respected clients – from jewellery brands and celebrities to start-up candle companies – who all turn to her to bring their vision to life, creating stunning imagery in warm honey tones against the most beautiful backdrops in the world. She also pays her experience forward, offering tips and tricks to help other people get the perfect shot.

Today’s guest is Natasha Chetiyawardana, co-founder and creative partner of Bow & Arrow, a growth consultancy firm acquired by Accenture in November 2019.

Natasha describes herself as a catalyst for making ideas happen. She is a C-suite challenger, a diversity advocate and a champion of creativity. People who’ve worked with her will tell you Natasha will flip everything you think you know upside down, and ask questions you’ve never even fathomed before.

If you’re not impressed yet, Natasha is also Chair of the Drum Design Awards. She’s been a university speaker and developed a syllabus for innovation and brand creation at the Pratt Institute.

But most of all, Natasha is a force for positive change. She knows how to drive things forward, and you’re about to find out why.

  • #30 Be Safe, Be Happy with Fitness Studio founder Euan Plater

Today’s guest is Euan Plater, a Personal Trainer, marketing consultant and founder of Glasgow-based boutique Fitness Studio, One Three Six.

Euan’s studio offers a unique and intriguing group class experience with a combination of Boxing, HIIT & Yoga. That might sound like a surprising mix, but we get the sense this is a window into Euan’s approach to health and fitness: a carefully balanced flow of hard hitting, muscle forming workouts with deeply restorative and mentally charging yoga.

See, Euan is also the host of the XY podcast, a show about mental health in men, interviewing a series of chart topping musicians, actors, models, directors and influencers, in which Euan gets to the root of why men have such a hard time discussing their mental health.

What’s Euan’s goal in all this? To get his clients looking good, and smiling more. We’re here for that.

  • #26 Have Fun! with Travel Blogger and Co-Founder of Black Explorer Magazine, Pelumi Nubi

Today’s guest is Pelumi Nubi, a London-based travel blogger and co-founder of Black Explorer Magazine, a print publication on a mission to amplify the black narrative in travel.

Pelumi moved to the UK from Nigeria when she was just 10 years old. Since then, she has made it her mission to visit every country in the world (she’s visited 61 so far), balancing her travels with studying for a PhD in Cancer Research.

In August 2021 Pelumi hit a crossroads in her life when she realised the course she had spent four years studying wasn’t bringing her joy anymore. So she booked a stay at Unplugged, a digital detox designed to get busy people off their phones and into nature.

Pelumi used the three days to strategise her mind and she left with a game plan, discovering that happiness can be found in taking risks and seeking out the undiscovered.

  • #24 Get Outside Everyday with $billion CEO Jay Worthy

Today’s guest is $1billion CEO turned Speaker and Adventure Coach, Jay Worthy.

Two years ago, you might have thought that Jay had it all. But after climbing to the top of the career ladder, he realised his job wasn’t making him happy, and that you shouldn’t wait your whole life to learn how to live.

So, equipped with lessons learned from expeditions in the mountains, jungles, and deserts, Jay started coaching executives and leaders, helping them to build adventure into their busy lifestyles.

Then in 2020, Jay launched 28 Summers, a podcast and a personal commitment to living in the moment. In conversation with special guests, Jay helps listeners to rediscover the childlike feelings of living life to the full, and answering the question, “How will you spend your remaining summers?”

  • #23: Who Are You Hustling For? With Personal Trainer, Ban Hass

Today’s guest is personal trainer, master instructor and trainee psychotherapist, Ban Hass.

A freelance personal trainer of 7 years, and a master trainer at London’s renowned Digme gyms, Ban is an advocate for health at every size. She wants you to feel good, to be happy in your own skin - and we get the feeling she wants this more than she wants you to lose a kilo or two.

Ban tackles big issues like weight stigma and body dysmorphia. Her social media accounts attract tens of thousands of followers for showing the truth behind sometimes disingenuous Fitness Inspiration - Fitspo for short - which Ban says is often a poor attempt at hiding things like disordered eating.

Adulthood, she says, is realising that every single person needs to be in therapy.

  • #22: Daydream with Managing Creative Director at Orca, James Ewin

Today’s guest is business owner, entrepreneur, and designer, James Ewin.

James is the Managing Creative Director at Orca, a purpose-driven agency that delivers everything from branding and design to strategy and animation to bold brands who want to start a movement and make a positive impact on the world.

This year, Orca launched ‘In Moderation,’ a three-part passion project designed to expose the everyday habits we use and abuse to get us through the working week. The aim is to challenge perceptions, address wider issues around hustle culture, mental wellbeing, and the importance of living a balanced lifestyle.

James believes the first step in making a difference is acknowledging that excess is just that – a bit too much.  And that life is better lived in moderation.
