But Anything but Footy also covers all sport - so who are the Commonwealths 'gamesmakers' - and how do you volunteer? We hear from 2022 board member and 2018 gold medalist Ame Agbeze and Hannah Cockroft, who also backs Naomi Osaka's Grand Slam walkout.

We're back - and we're unashamedly talking about footy - women's footy - which as we know has been badly impacted like many sports during the covid pandemic. And also Football is an Olympic sport!
For only the second time in history, Team GB are sending a squad to the Games to compete for a gold medal - in London they were knocked out in the quarter finals. Some of that team return in the 18 strong squad - 10 of them are from one Superleague team - and the squad isn't all English!
And as we're Anything BUT footy, we also round up latest Taekwondo, Judo, Cycling and Athletics news ahead of the Olympics and Paralympics this summer.

Max, Joe, Giarnni and James - the new Fab Four of British gymnastics. The men's team for Tokyo 2020 has been named by Team GB in Lilleshall the home of gym in the UK and Anything but Footy was there too! Michael catches up with World Champion Joe making his Olympic debut later this summer, and catches up with now 3 time Olympian and double gold medalist from Rio 2016 Max Whitlock.
This weekend was also a huge one for Olympic sport, with British athletes performing superbly in and out of the water at the European Championships in swimming, Para swimming and rowing. It was a wet but wonderful return to International athletics in Gateshead. The Sky's the limit for British skateboarding PLUS we round up the last British Hockey matches before Tokyo!

Niamh Emerson is the World Junior Champion and has also won European Indoor Championship silver medal and Commonwealth Games bronze medal. She is targeting selection in the heptathlon in Tokyo and admits in this interview how the postponement of the games may prove helpful after getting injured in 2020.
Niamh is also an ambassador for Glorious - an online platform which is aiming to promote women's sport and participation by girls and young women and she describes how important sport was to her whilst growing up.
