Apple’s plan to protect kids by scanning your iPhone

Apple announced new child safety features for the upcoming iOS 15 update. But, one of the measures has privacy advocates in an uproar: the ability to scan photos for child sexual abuse material on the iPhone itself. Recode’s Sara Morrison (@saramorrison) breaks down this new technology.
