There’s a scene in Gladiator where Maximus destroys his enemies in the arena, throws his sword, and roars to the stunned crowd, “Are you not entertained?” That moment hits different. He wasn’t performing—he was fighting for something real while everyone else watched for blood. And honestly, that’s how I feel sometimes as an entrepreneur. There’s this constant pressure to be loud, to go viral, to entertain. And sometimes, I just want to scream the same thing.
I’m not in this game to dance for likes. Yes, I run a personal brand. Yes, I post content. But I do it with purpose and detachment. I’m not chasing vanity metrics—I’m running real companies with real teams that generate real revenue. This isn’t about clout. It’s about building something that lasts. I want to help others avoid the landmines I’ve stepped on. But I refuse to let social media dictate my value.
Because let’s be clear—content doesn’t build wealth. Operations do. Margins do. Team culture does. You want to impress me? Don’t show me your reels. Show me your systems. Show me your leadership. Social media will trick you into thinking applause means success. But I’ve seen too many people with followers and no cash flow. If you’re doing this for attention instead of execution, you’re not building—you’re just performing. And this isn’t the Coliseum.
Welcome to The Spinoso Podcast hosted by CEO, doctor, comic book geek, and car guy, Alex Spinoso. I help people and companies grow, especially in the medical business. While my experience and expertise is in scaling all types of medical businesses to 7, 8, 9-figures or more, I can be a mentor to anyone who wants to take ownership of their lives, become a better leader at home and at work, and overcome any obstacle that stands in their way.
