On a special edition of the Locked On Sun Devils podcast, host Richie Bradshaw is joined by Arizona State Sun Devils football center Leif Fautanu! Now entering his final year of eligibility and year two in Tempe, Fautanu talks all about this upcoming season including goals for himself, the offensive line, and the team. Between spring practices and his connection with the coaching staff, Fautanu discusses how the unit has grown heading into the second year under Kenny Dillingham, as well as the role He's taken on as a leader of the offensive line. Fautanu has been called "grandpa" by some of the youngsters and he's taken that as a sign that he's a true veteran for the team and someone who will be leaned on to help the next generation become good players in their own right so one day they can be the veteran he is. There are certainly expectations for a unit that Fautanu has said is much deeper than last season, and he has the guys hoping for the Joe Moore Trophy, handed out to the nation's best offensive line.
