There's no better way to kick off the new season than with a win, but Arizona State Sun Devils football took it a step further and delivered a dominant showing against the Wyoming football program in what was one of the team's best performances in years. Kenny Dillingham had everything dialed up along with his coordinators Marcus Arroyo and Brian Ward as the Sun Devils did anything and everything they wanted to do offensively and defensively. ASU ran for nearly 250 yards, passed for 258 yards, recorded three sacks, and forced three turnovers, two of which were returned for touchdowns. Whatever the Sun Devils wanted to do, they did it and they did it well. With standout performances from quarterback Sam Leavitt, the offensive line led by Lief Fautanu, and a defense that saw several players shine like Keyshaun Elliott, Zyrus Fiaseu, Clayton Smith, and Shamari Simmons amongst a seemingly endless cast of contributors, the Sun Devils completely controlled their showdown with Wyoming.
