Smitty and Tyler discuss all the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It's that time of year! The 2025 NFL Draft is ONE week away. Being that is the case, we decided to head over to the mock draft simulator one last time and see what we could come up with. Mixing what we would do along with going along with the team's pre-draft interest, let's see what type of haul we can give to the Steelers to escalate this "re-tool".

Smitty and Tyler talk all things Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Pittsburgh Pirates season already feels like a lost one just 18 games in. The team boasts the league's worst offense and while injuries may be playing a part in that, the team doesn't deserve to be able to use that as a crutch after the way they operated this offseason. The level of frustration seems to be at its peak for a fanbase who is used to the lack of results but was hopeful there would be some type of shift with Paul Skenes on the roster.

Smitty and Tyler discuss all the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Let's do something a little different today. On this episode, let's discuss all of the potential Steelers' starting QBs in 2025 and how they could impact the team's plan to draft one in 2026. Mason Rudolph, Aaron Rodgers, Jaxson Dart, Will Howard and Jalen Milroe have all been discussed in some capacity to be the starting QB in 2025, but with the Steelers clearly having an eye towards taking their next shot at a franchise QB in 2026, should we be ruling some of these options out?

Let's discuss this and more!

Smitty and Tyler talk all things Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Pittsburgh Pirates season is underway and, in many ways, just feels like a continuation of the 2024 season. The starting pitching has largely been solid through the first week of the season, yet the club sits at 2-5 ahead of their home opening series against the New York Yankees. So how did we get here? Well, the offense has yet to score more than 4 runs in any game and outside of IKF and Oneil Cruz, the bats have largely been quiet. The bullpen (namely Colin Holderman and David Bednar) has carried over their 2024 woes into 2025. So much so that David Bednar was optioned to AAA just a few days ago. Can this team get back on track? Is Derek Shelton the right guy to manage this club? Are the problems deeper and something above him?

Smitty and Tyler discuss all the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It's that time of year! The NFL Draft is less than a month away. We thought this would be the perfect time to jump into another mock draft and see what boxes we can check. Is a trade back in Round 1 the path the Steelers should be looking to take? If Emeka Egbuka and Kenneth Grant are both on the board, which route would the team go? Will they be the team that stops slides in the form of Kaleb Johnson and Tyliek Williams? Is Will Howard the most likely QB in play?

Smitty and Tyler are back to talk all things Pittsburgh Penguins!

On today's episode we discuss the team coming back down to Earth after a little bit of a hot streak. The team is who we thought they were, which isn't very good despite having spurts of looking like a fringe playoff team. The magic seems to have worn off on Tristan Jarry's recall, where he had a stretch of solid play between the pipes. The thing to watch for the rest of the season will be Sidney Crosby's chase towards history. He is on the cusp of being a point per game player, yet again, at age 37. He also leads the league in 5 v 5 scoring. What else is there to say about Sidney Crosby at this point?

Smitty and Tyler talk all things Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pittsburgh Pirates season is set to get underway, and we are back to give some predictions. The rotation took a huge hit before a pitch was even thrown, with Jared Jones set to miss 6+ weeks of the season. Who will step up in his place? Will this be what derails the season? We then go through who we believe will be the biggest surprise, biggest disappointment, breakout player and more amongst the club? We are all excited for Year 2 of Paul Skenes, but what else are we looking forward to?

Smitty and Tyler discuss all the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL free agency is well under way at this point, and we are back to discuss how the Pittsburgh Steelers have changed in the recent days. They made a major splash the day before legal tampering began when they acquired WR DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick and then immediately gave him a new 5/$150M contract. This leaves a lot of people wondering what the future is of George Pickens. We still don't know who will be throwing the ball to these guys either. The team lost Justin Fields to the Jets via free agency and hasn't yet signed a QB as of this recording. The team seems to want to bring Aaron Rodgers in but are waiting on his decision. On the other end of that, it doesn't seem like there is any interest in a Russell Wilson reunion. The team continued to add in the form of Darius Slay, Malik Harrison, Brandin Echols and Kenneth Gainwell while losing Najee Harris, Mike Williams, Donte Jackson, Dan Moore Jr., James Daniels and Elandon Roberts. Where will the team go from here? Who will be QB in 2025? We will find out together.
