  • Paula Faris From Good Morning America Releases You Don't Have To Carry It
EMMY AWARD-WINNING JOURNALIST PAULA FARIS CHAMPIONS MILLIONS OF OVERWHELMED AND DEPLETED WORKING MOMS IN UPCOMING BOOK YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY IT ALL: DITCH THE MOM GUILT AND FIND A BETTER WAY FORWARD RELEASES MARCH 7, 2023, AVAILABLE NOW FOR PREORDER In Faris's Most Important Reporting Yet, She Explores What It Would Look Like To Give Working Moms The Support They So Desperately Need And Deserve "THIS is the book working moms have been waiting for!"- Jenna Bush Hager, co-host of TODAY with Hoda and Jenna, bestselling author, and journalist Paula Faris, Emmy Award-winning journalist as ABC News co-anchor of "Good Morning America Weekend" and "The View," announces the release of her latest book, You Don't Have to Carry It All: Ditch the Mom Guilt and Find a Better Way Forward. Featuring insightful and practical steps for better working, momming, and living, the upcoming title allows readers to learn through Faris' unique lens as a successful journalist and mom-of-three as she reveals what it would look like to give moms the support they need and deserve. The new title releases on March 7, 2023 via Worthy Publishing, a division of Hachette Book Group, and is available now for preorder. Says Faris, "Working moms carry more than their fair share. They're raising children, tackling a mountain of household tasks, and building successful careers. But they're doing it without the support they so desperately need and deserve." Like so many mothers who were forced out of their jobs during the pandemic, Faris lost hers at ABC News in 2020. It was then she knew she wanted to create a better way forward for working moms. Moms who are tired of the constant conflict between working and momming; of feeling that they're failing everyone, everywhere; of facing the gender disparities in workplaces that treat mothers like risks instead of assets; and of dealing with the exhaustion of trying to carry it all. Faris, a self-described "advocate for moms," launched CARRY Media in 2022 to champion working moms through resources, content and storytelling.

  • Randy West Releases The Book TV Inside Out Flukes Flakes Fueds And Felonies
TV Inside-Out is the tell almost-all book that exposes outrageous celebrity misbehavior, toxic dysfunctional relationships, senseless executive blunders, million dollar production foul-ups and a myriad of stunning revelations garnered from candid conversations with some of your favorite TV performers, as well as members of their entourages, the production staffs, and the crew members who keep their jobs by keeping these secrets. This is the first book to reveal the real-life drama behind TV's popular dramatic series, the misery at the happiest sitcoms, the private whispers in talk show dressing rooms, and the games people play behind the scenes at your favorite game shows. Compiled by a 30-year veteran of the conflicts and camaraderie, these are true stories that many insiders would rather remain untold. So much has been obscured by the laughs at favorite late-night shows, disguised by celebrities' Botox-enhanced smiles, masked by the applause of adoring fans, and protected by professional ethics and discretion-until now.

  • Mark Rivera Releases The Book Side Man In Persuit Of The Next Gig
While most successful sidemen are lucky to spend a decade in the music business, multi-instrumentalist Mark Rivera is working on his fifth. Best known as Billy Joel's saxophonist as well as Musical Director for Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band, Rivera has shared the stage with some of Rock 'n' Roll's greatest performers, including John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Tony Bennett, Sheila E., Joe Walsh, Hall & Oates, and Peter Gabriel. How does he do it while avoiding the typical pitfalls-falling out of favor with the band, burnout, depression? A devoted father and husband for nearly forty years, Rivera's recollections in Sideman demonstrate that while he struggled to balance the two worlds-a rock 'n' roller circling the globe and a regular guy worried about putting food on the table-his body's compulsion to always be playing music kept him in constant pursuit of "the next gig." The sideman is put to the test as he recounts his past from the confines of a global pandemic, and the man accustomed to "keeping up with the music" is forced to put down his instruments and reflect. Full of optimism, humor, and candor, Rivera turns the spotlight on the sideman's life, revealing not only what it takes to climb the industry ladder (and stay there), but something more surprising: a bit of ourselves rocking out amongst all those superstars. Mark Rivera is best known as Billy Joel’s saxophonist, as well as Musical Director for Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band. Rivera is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who over the past 50 years has shared the stage and supported some of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s greatest performers, including John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Tony Bennett, Sheila E., Joe Walsh, Hall & Oates, and Peter Gabriel.
