The Central Park Five, as they were known, spent between seven to thirteen years behind bars, until the true killer confessed and their sentences were overturned in 2002. Recently he teamed up with Ibi Zoboi to create the young adult book “Punching the Air . It reflects not only Yusef’s story, but the stories of millions of young boys and girls of color who face the injustice of mass incarceration and the criminal justice system. Ryan is back with more movies you can see in this one time really hot place called a theater. In fact he actually visited his first theater since everything closed down in March. How did he prepare? What did he feel like with others around him? The movie he saw was Christopher Nolan's Tenet. Anyone traveling upon this planet over the past 7 months has endured more changes than a two week old baby. Physically we’re exhausted. Mentally our minds continuously fight to keep our head above common sense.
The impact of Covid-19 and everything else in the headlines has ripped our habits from beneath our feet. Having to deal with the pressures of trying to get back to work, paying for food, keeping the roof over our head and struggling to stay in love with our families has put millions of side stepping Americans in a place of mental issues.

I was shocked to learn that the one sacred place on the planet for building and rebuilding, the almighty church isn’t keeping up with what is and isn’t seen now as being faith filled and is there enough for spiritual recovery?

Episode 111:
As heavy as the moment felt when word came that all things including entertainment had to shut down, the stage lights are slowly coming back on. Singer/songwriters/producers and musicians have forged forward with newer ways to mix match and harmonize without busting down the walls of protection put up by decisions makers.
One of them is the group In Theory which features longtime guitar legend Mike Mostert and Rock Star vocalist Tony Covino.
Their first release bares the title Heroes. Although it clearly features the unique collaboration of a robust guitar, an appearance from the powerful Hammond B3 Organ and anthemic vocals – the song’s lyrics play a huge role in the roll out of this well-crafted chunk of time growing forward. A reminder to us all that there’s more than a pandemic trapping us in our homes.
