-Missed Opportunity- I love sharing conversations.  Hosting requires show prep.  My podcasting platforms feature thousands of guests.  What you don’t have access to are the missed opportunities. The show prep was completed.  The conversation didn’t happen.  I keep all my notes! Paths will cross again.  Let me explain Missed Opportunity.  It’s my questions and statements without their answers.  I’m leaving open enough space at the end of each question hoping they’ll download the talk and insert their answers.Missed Opportunity is a lost piece of history.  Like a message in a bottle tossed out to sea. I hope to locate a destination…
This week we’re putting focus on my missed opportunity is with singer songwriter Dexter Roberts from NBC’s The Voice. Missed Opportunity.  A lost piece of history.  You know the questions.  Let’s locate the reactions.  The door is always open.  If you are or know Dexter Roberts reach out to me at [email protected] that’s [email protected] Be brilliant!

Gary Lucas heard of Lukas Ligeti through his father, the legendary composer György Ligeti, known for his work in 2001: A Space Odyssey. When Lucas moved to New York, Lukas stepped in as a substitute drummer for Gods and Monsters—and the chemistry was instant.
“It’s easy to hang out with Lukas, which is important if you’re going to do a duo,” Gary Lucas says. In time the drummer taught and performed out of the State and country, but when he visited the City, the two would play their improvisations live at The New School’s venue for avant garde performances, “The Stone”Recently, they booked time at East Side Sound and recorded the entire album live. They later refined the mixes and edited the pieces to highlight the most exciting moments.  About Gary LucasA world‑class guitarist, Grammy‑nominated songwriter, and international touring artist, Lucas has released over 50 albums across genres—jazz, rock, classical, folk, blues, avant‑garde, and world music. He has performed in 40+ countries, collaborated with icons from Captain Beefheart to Jeff Buckley, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Nick Cave, and Bryan Ferry, and received multiple Lifetime Achievement awards for his songwriting with Buckley (“Grace,” “Mojo Pin”).  Dubbed “The Thinking Man’s Guitar Hero” (The New Yorker) and “one of the best and most original guitarists in America” (Rolling Stone), Lucas continues to push boundaries with every project. I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as…   Does separation anxiety as a child transfer to adults wearing the same shoes?  Plus…is the secret to life located in the physical involvement of hashing and rehashing.   I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…
