  • The Softer Side Of One Of The Roughest Sports On The Planet The Hockey Experiment From Ava Miles
Main character Dr. Valentina Hargrove is on a mission to prove once and for all that hockey players are modern-day cavemen. Her research? A rigorous, scientific analysis of their behavior. Her problem? Brock “The Rock” Thomson, captain of the Alexandria Eagles, who’s as infuriatingly charming as he is undeniably intelligent. Brock’s used to breaking records, not be a research model, but Dr. Val's experiment has him intrigued. The more time they spend together, the more he’s determined to show her that not all hockey players fit her outdated hypothesis. And when her professional curiosity turns personal, Val is forced to ask herself: is she studying a player… or falling for one? A delightful mix of sports romance and relatable themes that will keep readers engaged. It’s perfect for fans of forced proximity and the coach’s daughter tropes, offering a fun ride through attraction, discovery, and the choices we make. About the author: International Bestselling Author Ava Miles and her powerful fiction and non-fiction books about love, happiness, and transformation have received praise and accolades from USA Today, Publishers Weekly, and People Magazine in addition to being chosen as Best Books of the Year and Top Editor’s picks and translated into multiple languages. • It's Never Too Late To Talk About Your Skin With Dr Gauri And Dr Abhijit Desai
For years, skincare shelves have been filled with products catering to a narrow spectrum of skin tones, leaving those with melanin-rich skin struggling to find solutions that truly work. Dr. Gauri Desai, a seasoned pathologist and her husband, Dr. Abhijit Desai, an expert in aesthetic dermatology are shaking up the skincare world with Brownkind, a brand designed specifically for people with brown skin. Black and brown skin behave differently and is more prone to uneven pigmentation, dryness, and irritation that can be masked by darker tones. Brownkind is a movement they created after years of seeing patients frustrated with skincare products that didn’t address their unique concerns. With a mission rooted in inclusivity and education, the doctors are all about celebrating brown skin—not fixing it. They are busting myths and helping people move their skincare routine from summer to fall just as they change their wardrobe!

  • The Daily Mess Are We Adopting The 996 Work Week Plus Do Men Feel Less Because They Cant Fix Their Car
I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as…   Are we moving toward a 9 9 6 work week?  9 9 6?  What is that?  Plus…do men feel lesser as a man if they can’t work on their cars?           I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…

  • When You Know In Your Gut It's Time To Speak Up False Claims From Lisa Pratta
For the first time, Lisa Pratta shares her story of going undercover as a whistleblower at a Big Pharma company and standing up to systemic corruption, greed, and harassment-all while caring for her special needs son as a single mother.
When Lisa Pratta started her career as a pharmaceutical sales representative, she had no idea of the industry's depravity, and the endemic sexual harassment, bribery, and fraud she witnessed only got worse over time.
Lisa hoped that might all change when she landed her dream job with a small company called Questcor which sold a drug that, when prescribed correctly, could help patients with multiple sclerosis. Yet Questcor realized they could make more money prescribing the drug incorrectly. While the FDA had approved the drug for two- to three-week treatments, Questcor was training, encouraging, and incentivizing its sales force to push a five-day treatment plan not backed by any science-and arbitrarily increased the drug's price to $28,000 for a single vial.
Pratta recognized this as being not only dangerous for patients, but also highly illegal. As the single mother of a special-needs son, Lisa couldn't risk losing her job-but her moral compass also wouldn't allow her to stay silent.
Thus began her double life as a whistleblower. For nearly a decade she clandestinely fed information to the Department of Justice. Resisting internal pressure to succumb to Questcor's illegal sales tactics, she was constantly harassed by supervisors and in danger of being fired, while the government offered her no protection in the event her betrayal was discovered.
This incredible story offers an insider's look at the unscrupulous sales methods used by America's corrupt pharmaceutical industry, analyzes the levers they pull to extract ludicrous profits from the sick and dying, and is a page-turning portrait of one woman's epic fight against Big Pharma and a mother's heroic struggle to protect her family.
