Arroe Collins: Unplugged & Totally Uncut

Celebrating my 33rd year of marriage.  I was shocked to learn I've been an authentic daily writer for 32 of those years.  How weird am I?  Plus babies!  The ins outs twists spins and journey and then you meet me in a grocery store and I want to shove a pen in your writing hand.  You aren't a great listener in any thing you do unless you are writing daily in a journal.  Listening starts with you.  Damn it!  Now you won't listen to this!  Crap!

Tell and Wren face a wraith—a sorcerer gone rogue—in this third and final book in the Children of the Black Glass middle grade fantasy series. Now a captive in Desert’s house, Wren learns the evil sorcerer has melded herself into a human body to become a wraith. Wielding even more power, more strength, and more magic than ever before, Desert’s still not satisfied…not until she consumes Wren’s too. Tell will stop at nothing to save his sister, and while he lacks magic himself, he discovers one of their friends has mystical powers and is as determined as Tell is to save Wren—the girl who once saved him. Separated for the first time, Tell and Wren are both left to rely on their quick wits, mountain training, and allies old and new to vanquish Desert once and for all. As desperate sorcerers prepare to battle the twisted wraith, they know losing would mean losing the city of Halfway…and each other.

I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as…   Why have we reverted back to brown nosing the boss?  Plus…the ups downs and questionable ways we tend to play the boss to land more money.   I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…

We say this stuff pretty much every day without realizing it's got history. This one hails from the pages of my father who endlessly told me how much I don't know shit. Really? One day Dad I'm gonna grow up to host a podcast and we're gonna talk about shit I do know. Ha!

Debora’s story threads through multiple industries: she was discovered by Sammy Davis, Jr. as a dancer and singer, helped launch the first boutique agency for post-production talent, and produced noteworthy documentaries for PBS and Bravo. Her latest project is the debut novel Freedom Quest: A Love Story, inspired by her real partner, Craig Ingraham, and his 1970s band. Their album now streams on Spotify as the book’s own soundtrack. It’s a rare example of shaping story across music, performance, and publishing, much like the multimedia world in your host chair.Debora’s background also brings an educator’s perspective, with experience teaching everything from dance to French to executive communications. She knows the roller coaster of publishing from both sides and can speak candidly about finding a home at Atmosphere Press and the journey from idea to preorder, all with an eye for what resonates with listeners who crave authentic creative journeys.

Podcasts hosted by celebrities. I remember the days when the thought of someone of fame taking the time to pull off such a weekly thing was beneath their presence. Now, it's an open field for them to get paid great money to endorse a product but are they connect with who really counts? Where is the listener in this adventure to get paid to talk?

As someone who has spent more than a decade documenting and participating in one of the most influential fan communities in modern culture, Olivia can speak to what this milestone means not only for Taylor’s legacy but for the millions of fans whose lives have been shaped by her music. As the youngest female artist ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Taylor has built an unparalleled connection with her fandom, through her deeply personal and vulnerable songwriting. While her talent skyrocketed her career, her enduring success is also a testament to the passionate fan community that has championed her work every step of the way. “The connection with her billions of fans is impermeable and inspirational and encompassing, that literally offers all of us a way to find true connection in a world that is clearly struggling with so many overwhelming challenges,” said Steven Spielberg at the induction ceremony.
