  • Pod Crashing Episode 352 With Actor Comedian Lauren Lapkus From The Podcast Haunting
Pod Crashing episode 352 with Lauren Lapkus aka Theresa from the podcast Haunting.  Haunting shares weekly, real-life paranormal stories told by those who experienced them first-hand. Some will be unsettling... Some unnerving. And some are even downright terrifying! Haunting brings audiences into the story through first-hand accounts and immersive audio, giving listeners the feeling of coming face-to-face with the unexplainable.   Comedian Lauren Lapkus plays the host, Theresa (Teh-rez-ah), an "influencer" who tragically died before she could get the proverbial "little blue check in life." Theresa is stuck in the Eternal Twilight until she figures out how to finish her "unfinished business." Just like when she was alive and active on every social media platform, Theresa promises to always give her audience the -- mostly -- unfiltered look into her life, now afterlife. But instead of snarky social commentary, OOTDs, and hyper-edited selfies, with the help of her producer, Len, and succubus from Hell turned intern, Naomi, Theresa aims to help the living see that ghosts are just former people who want to have a little fun like anyone else, even though it's often in the form of mortal fear and suffering.   Believing that nothing says lifeless like a paranormal podcast hosted by a mere mortal, Therésa will present real first-hand accounts that bring listeners face-to-face with the unexplainable.   The role of Therésa will be voiced by the quick-witted and hilarious comedian Lauren Lapkus, who starred in the projects The Wrong Missy, Netflix's The Characters, and Orange Is The New Black.   Episodes available here:   Https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-haunting-189465854/

  • The Making Of A Greater Classic Clay Aiken's New Album Christmas Bells Are Ringing
Multi-platinum recording artist Clay Aiken is back with a stunning new version of the Bing Crosby classic "Do You Hear What I Hear?," the first single from his highly anticipated Christmas album Christmas Bells are Ringing, set to be released on November 22nd. Aiken's unique interpretation infuses the classic carol with his signature vocal warmth and emotional depth making it a song for our times. Written in 1962 by Noël Regney and Gloria Shayne as a plea for peace during the Cuban Missile Crisis, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" is timeless in its message, yet even more resonant today. Aiken reflects, "The whole American political climate over the past few years hasn't really given us much in the way of hope or optimism. As much as I wanted to believe I might be able to make some positive change in that world, I've realized that music often does a better job of that." Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Ron Fair, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" is the first release from Aiken's first studio album in over a decade, following a hiatus from music which found Aiken running for Congressional office in North Carolina, and raising his now teenage son. The album, Christmas Bells are Ringing, marks a return to the holiday music that solidified Aiken's place as a household name in 2004, when his debut holiday album Merry Christmas With Love broke records, selling nearly 300,000 copies in its first week. That album went platinum, becoming the best-selling holiday album of 2004 and earning Aiken three Billboard Music Awards. The new record boasts fresh takes on holiday staples like Nat King Cole's "Caroling, Caroling" and Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime", as well as a lush reinvention of "Merry Christmas, Darling" by the Carpenters (one of Clay's musical inspirations) and a show-stopping rendition of "Pure Imagination" which reimagines the Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory classic as a fitting soundtrack for the holiday season.

  • The Daily Mess Do Old People Have Sex And Ernest Hemmnigway Prefered To Write Standing Up
I’m always asking questions.  The fun begins when you start researching for answers.   Do old people still have sex?  It’s something I never talked about with my parents.  Should we? Plus…Is it true that Ernest Hemmingway chose to write his legendary stories while standing  up? I’m Arroe…  I am a daily writer.  A silent wolf.  I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate.  I call it The Daily Mess.  A chronological walk through an everyday world.  Yes, it’s my morning writing.  As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later.  When a subject arrives, I dig in.  It’s still keeping a journal!  By doing the research the picture becomes clearer.  This is the Daily Mess…

  • Singer Songwriter Jan Dan From Season 26 Of NBC's The Voice
Jan Dan is a stage name that was derived from the first part of his given name, Najee spelled backward, and the first letters of his last name, Daniels. Jan Dan's mom, Fundisha, is a singer and songwriter. She landed a record deal with Jermaine Dupri's company, So So Def, and moved Jan Dan and his siblings to Atlanta when he was just 10 years old. Besides his mom, his uncle, LaShawn, was a Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer and one of Jan Dan's biggest inspirations. Unfortunately, LaShawn died in a tragic car accident in 2019, which left Jan devastated. Although music was something he loved, Jan Dan wasn't ready to pursue music full-time after high school. He went the safer route and enrolled in culinary school. Over the years he became more confident in his musical abilities and pushed fear aside. Remembering what his uncle told him before he passed, Jan Dan shifted his focus to music to build upon his family's legacy. He has been writing, recording and producing, sometimes even writing with his wife, Nicole. They are expecting their first child soon, and Jan Dan feels this is the best time as any to go full force into his passion.
