On this episode we have Michael Garcia. Mike and I have known each other for about 20 years playing shows with each other’s bands and we started Local Famous Records together back in 2020. In this interview I really get to know Michael and discover the legend that brought him here. We discuss his background growing up in Everman, TX and his musical trajectory in the DFW scene in the early 2000’s up through his current endeavors. Last year they released their first full length album: “Human Nature.” A meaningful, beautiful and hard hitting record recorded with Alex Gerst. I really enjoyed talking to Eric, Moose, and Johnny about their processes and influences and how they all met at college and how though there have been changes over the years, these guys have been playing together the whole time. Eleven years and counting. We talk about what that means to them, as well as get into some gear talk and a bit about the making of the album.
