Hi, welcome to “As an Artist.” A Local Famous Records podcast about local artists, their art, the creative process and the local scene. My name is Anthony Sosa and thank you for joining us. On this episode we have my longtime friend and bandmate Garrett Bond. Garrett and I have known each other for over 20 years and have played in multiple projects together. I’m excited to finally get him on and have a great conversation. We cover all sorts of things like his musical influences and getting into playing music. We talk about Denton in the mid 2000’s and his joining The Raven Charter and eventually his other projects over the years, including Crown Lucia, 411 and most recently Double Bear and Temporal Distortions. Episode 22: Brandon Bond

Last year they released their first full length album: “Human Nature.” A meaningful, beautiful and hard hitting record recorded with Alex Gerst. I really enjoyed talking to Eric, Moose, and Johnny about their processes and influences and how they all met at college and how though there have been changes over the years, these guys have been playing together the whole time.
