Turn your phone on silent and announce to family and friends that you need not be disturbed if applicable. Sit in a comfortable upright position. Make sure your back is supported if needed. Begin to tune into your breathing. Try to lengthen your inhalation and exhalation as you allow yourself to tune inward. The sound of your breathing will help you relax. If your thoughts become rapid at any point, don’t give up. Just focus on the sound of your breathing and allow yourself to continue following the guided meditation where you left off.
