This was such a hard question to peel apart, to some it could be an inherited trait and to others, it’s a skill. There are some that are grown to have more resilience than others. But we wanted to discuss if this is something you are born with and inherit or is it developed through your experiences in life.
Ava Wong (Amelia’s mum) joins us today to discuss what her thoughts are around this topic of resilience and share her experiences where it helped her build this skill.
We also share our own personal stories and moments on where we had to build on our resilience. As well has going through the 5 pillars of resilience.
We would love to hear you share your stories on moments that built your resilience too!

Bringing you a different kind of episode today. Discussing the moral of the story from a K drama we’ve recently watched, Tomorrow. BUT we’re not trying to do a typical K drama review.
We really wanted to dig into the message that they shared on the show. How we can bounce back from when we hit rock bottom. Every story in this drama taught us great ways to think and look at life, EVEN when life gets hard and you really have hit rock bottom.
Such a great drama to watch if you love something that brings you different perspective. The story is around life and death but actually surprisingly really light hearted!

Just like everything in life, careers has their highs and their lows. Sometimes the lows may even put you in situations where you feel like you need a break. But in society, many tell us that we should at least have the next job lined up before you quit. However, what if you are honestly just mentally drained, overworked and working has just caused way too many mental break downs.
Today we sit with Hao Tran to discuss his recent movement in leaving his career without another job lined up. We dig deep into the bigger plans behind taking this action and why he felt that it’s better to just leave before things get out of hand.
Sometimes it also is a difficult question because you just aren’t sure if it’s just a simple break you need or it’s actually something that is affecting your mental well-being where you need to just take the step back. Away from it all and have a healthy reset.
If you’re currently stuck in a similar situation, unsure if you’re making the right decision in your career. Feeling like you need a reset but not sure if naked quitting is the right idea. Tune in to our episode with Hao as he share his thoughts and opinions and things he considered before fully quitting his job.
Also if you’re a killer for analogies, you wouldn’t want to miss this one!
