Early on Monday morning, Australian PM Anthony Albanese announced the Government had recognised the State of Palestine. Albanese joined the heads of Canada and the UK in making the announcement, ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York City this week. Then, early this morning, countries met at the UN to discuss the future of the two-state solution.
