  • Transformational Leadership with BlackWolf Consultants
In this episode, Roxanne converses with Gabriel and Robert Krenza from Black Wolf Consultants, discussing their global reach and transformational leadership. They explore inclusion, personal beliefs, and choosing partners for genuine leadership change. The conversation delves into curiosity's role in the workplace, balancing collaboration and competition, and the dichotomy of personal and professional personas.

The past 2 years have been challenging for everyone, there’s no doubt about it. Leaders everywhere have had a rough road navigating the continuous changes made by our respective governments and the constant demand to keep both their team and superiors happy. On this episode of Authentic Living with Roxanne, we welcome Robert and Gabriel Krenza from BlackWolf Consultants, to discuss Transformational Leadership and share ideas for making transactional changes.

Robert Krenza founded BlackWolf Consultants to offer leaders guidance on a new journey where they can learn how to transform their lives and attain their goals. Robert gathers facilitators and coaches who act as guards and teachers – sometimes strongly, sometimes gently – but always with heart and meaning. He brings the qualities of courage, perseverance, passion, challenge, compassion, community, contribution, loyalty, and integrity, to his work. He listens to deeply understand the essence of all that is and the unrealized potential in a person, a team, or an organization.

Gabriel Krenza is a graduate of Presido Graduate School with an MBA in Sustainable Leadership and Analytics and is a Senior Consultant with BlackWolf focusing on Responsible Leadership through several methodologies including Wilderness Immersions to reconnect leaders with their environmental and social ethos in their roles in global organizations. As the Founder of BlackWolf Expeditions, Gabriel’s work in both the fields of sustainability strategy and organizational development are inspired by embracing the concept that our lives are intrinsically interconnected with all other lives on this planet.

Robert and Gabriel gave us so much great information that we are splitting this into a two-part series, so be sure to tune in again next week for Part II.

The episode concludes with the importance of mental breaks and ways to connect with Sue.

Quote: “We long to go back to what was and what was familiar and hold on. How do we accept that it’s different right now?” Sue Lymburner

Almost 2 years ago, we were shutting down for what we thought was two weeks. Now, nearly two years later, we are struggling to get through our second COVID holiday season. On this episode of Authentic Living with Roxanne, we’re thrilled to welcome back for another holiday edition, Roxanne’s long-time friend and trauma expert, Sue Lymburner, to discuss how people are working even harder this year to stay happy and jolly. It’s no wonder people are struggling with the current Omicron variant ravaging the entire planet, social distancing, restrictions for visiting loved ones in effect again and top it off with colder weather. Sue will share some strategies to help us keep our spirits bright throughout the holidays.

Sue has been a clinical psychotherapist for more than 20 years. She helps her clients deal with difficult life events such as abuse, addiction, a job or relationship loss, mental illnesses or unresolved trauma. She works with her clients to gain insight into the challenges they face so obstacles that might seem insurmountable can be overcome.

I had such a wonderful and information-filled chat with Sue last week that we decided to turn it into a 2-part series. In case you missed last week, here’s the link to Part I It’s not mandatory that you listen to it first, but I recommend that you do. • Resolving Conflict as a Leader (Part II) with Christi Scarrow
In this episode, Roxanne Derhodge engages in a deep conversation with Christi Scarrow about conflict resolution in the workplace. They delve into the SBI feedback model, the importance of clear feedback, and the pandemic's impact on conflict avoidance. They also discuss Christi's book, "Truth Warriors", diversity in leadership, and decision-making styles. Roxanne shares her insights as an intuitive decision-maker and encourages listeners to take the book's assessment.

Quote: "I think there's even more of a resistance to avoid difficult conversations, which I believe is actually an escalation to conflict." Christi Scarrow

The definition of conflict is a struggle or clash of interest, opinion, or even principles, a difference that prevents agreement. Conflict will always be found in society and isn't going anywhere, so our best defence is to face it head-on, but many are intimidated by conflict and avoid it at all costs. On this episode of Authentic Living with Roxanne, we welcome back Accountability Expert Christi Scarrow to share some great ideas for leaders to resolve conflict in the workplace.

I had such a wonderful and information-filled chat with Christi last week that we decided to turn it into a 2-part series.
