With Aang and Zuko experiencing a mysterious illness, Azula is forced to trek into town for a cure, where she is confronted with memories of her mother and a very real danger.

Meanwhile, a mysterious Blue Spirit stalks the night, a secret mission of their own forcing them to cross paths with Azula...

Avatar Aang and Prince Sokka both deal with traumatic recollections of their pasts. For Sokka, the memory is painfully real, driving his actions to this day. But for Aang, the more he remembers, the more disconnected from his sense of self he becomes.

Impatient in her quest to find a master firebender, Azula insists in going into a nearby town, and is startled to discover that the Water Nation occupiers "protect" the townspeople- and even provide education at an academy!

Meanwhile, Aang struggles to practice his bending, remembering his true potential but frustrated by his inability to grasp it.

As a novice herself, Aang worries Azula won't make a very good firebending teacher- which is why a genuine firebending scroll is a lucky find! Little do they know that team Avatar isn't the only group shopping- and that Avatar himself is worth more than any piece of paper.

With Azula held captive by the anger of the Painted Lady, Aang must do whatever it takes to recover his friend and the stolen villagers. 

After, Aang and his friends head for Avatar Kuruk's temple to speak to his past life, determined to find a way home, in close pursuit by Prince Sokka.... and Commander Bato! 

Continuing their journey through the Fire Nation, Aang lands near a suspiciously polluted river and runs into a man with a habit of changing names as often as hats.... Meanwhile, Kanna's relaxing ice bath gets interupted, forcing Prince Sokka to make a choice

After escaping the royal clutches of Long Feng, Aang hopes to find an earthbender that can remove the rock cuffs from himself, Zuko, and Sabi. But when they finally land, Aang must fight alongside a battle-hardened father and son from his past against a Water Navy siege.

Lost and with nowhere else to turn, Aang decides to head for the nearest Earth Kingdom city- which happens to be in the Fire Nation? 

Desperate to contact his past lives, Aang heads for Crescent Island, where the temple of Avatar Roku stands... and finds a dojo in its place! Zuko is eager to pick up a few new skills from the mysterious fighters of the island. Meanwhile, Prince Sokka follows the Avatar's trail, hoping that he can overtake his quarry before the boy can escape into the Earth Kingdom.
