Welcome to episode #57 of Not Me, But You! In this episode we cover what Leo F. Buscaglia said about "avoiding failure." Do you attempt to avoid failure? I know that I do!
But when it comes to business, I know that FAILING in business is the pathway to success! One way to avoid failure is to never really risk anything. You can certainly live that way, but will you end up living your dreams?
In school, we learn that "failure" is bad and shameful! You don't want to ever fail a test or an exam or class or an entire semester! Why not? Because then you MAY appear stupid! And people may say "not nice" things about you! And people may THINK unkind and unflattering things of you!
But in business, you HAVE to be WILLING to fail but you know that you will LEARN from your mistakes. You can fail, then learn from the failure, make corrections, and then finally MOVE FORWARD! Don't waste your valuable time DWELLING on your mistakes. NONE of us are EVER going to be perfect!
One other important concept. How CERTAIN are you about your CERTAINTY? Are you "chained" by your certainty (certitude)?

I'm not a financial advisor. This podcast is for education/entertainment purposes only. You will need to do your own research and accept responsibility for the results of any money you choose to invest. I love using Schwab.com to buy/sell stocks/ETF's/closed end funds/options. Schwab has a very user friendly app/website and their customer service is excellent. I can easily get to speak to a human being whenever I have questions.
