Episode 118, FULL SHOW -- The Nationals wrapped up their 3-city road trip with 5 straight losses to the White Sox and Phillies. As they prepare the return to Nats Park for a six game homestand, Grant Paulsen and Producer Darris Dameron assess the state of the roster, and try to figure out when some tough decisions will be made as various veterans continue to struggle and provide little to a rebuilding ballclub; Despite the recent struggles of the offense, there's reason to believe various Nats should snap out of their offensive woes soon enough. Grant & Darris look back at some of the recent stretches for the Nats top hitters, and applaud MacKenzie Gore finally getting over his 2nd inning struggles; It wasn't long ago that the word from around the Nats organization was that Top Prospect James Wood needed more work against left handed pitching. Well over the last couple of weeks, the Nationals prized prospect has been getting at-bats against lefties, and he's been holding up very well. Grant & Darris give an update on the latest with James Wood and Dylan Crews recent performances.
