Bad Book Bash

We're shown Bancroft Warwick's layer, which includes all the typical villain stuff like dungeons crawling with vampires and a long-ass table where he forces his enemies to dine with him even though Banny himself doesn't eat regular food. Vlad gets his ass kicked by a grown ass adult and everyone is pretty okay with it

All the adults are creepily trying to pry Azalea away from Vlad and into Maddox's arms, even though Maddox doesn't respect her boundaries whatsoever but that's just the norm for this werewolf society

Liam doesn't want to go to his wife's baby shower because toxic masculinity is gospel in this book. Felix, not our guest but a character in this book, has a shockingly huge penis, even though all the male werewolves do so I suppose it's not really that shocking. We have another horribly cringy sex scene, and Mike and Felix (not the weird wolf one) talk about piss play

Azalea's family continue to spend time with her in-laws/her abusers/the people who murdered her parents; Liam still doesn't understand why they aren't besties already. Also, we meet a new vampire character, although it's not the kind of vampire we were expecting. Felix and Mike discuss how pregnant sex is the safest form of safe sex

A bunch of werewolf refugees show up at the Blood Eclipse pack, and for some reason our author decided that refugees should smell like literal trash. Azalea and Liam keep getting horny at the most inappropriate of times; once you think it's gotten as bad as it could get, they just surprise you some more. Felix and Mike discuss unicorn dicks

This episode has another gross sex scene between Azalea and Liam, more messed-up wolf biology, and Liam forcing Azalea to be around his parents/her parents' murderers/her child abusers. What a dreamboat

We are back with Liam and Azalea, after many years of marital bliss/Stockholm Syndrome kicking in. They have 2 boys, both given "L" names to keep with the trend, and an adopted daughter named Missy. Both Liam and Azalea are suspicious of Missy's boyfriend Vlad because he smells kinda weird and he is totally definitely not a vampire...Also, Felix and Mike invent a new, problematic word called "wobo"

This episode is a recap of the first book in Quirky Quinn's series, "His Redemption". "His Retribution" is the 2nd book in the series. In the last book, Azalea grew up as a child slave in Liam's family's pack house. Him and his whole family physically and emotionally abused her while also forcing her to clean their house. However once they both turned 17, they realized they were each other's moon-given mates, so Liam stopped abusing her because his werewolf hormones told him to. They went through a crazy series of trials and tribulations, where Azalea was kidnapped a few times and Liam straight-up assaulted her. Despite all that, she still married him, and the 2nd book picks up from there.
