She had VSG 9/21/20 and started on the weight loss medication Mounjaro in October of 2022. She currently is down 150ish pounds and finally has reached her goal weight this year - 2023! For her, maintenance has been the hardest part of this journey so far. It's has been a scary, unfamiliar place! She states that she "takes it one day at a time and leans heavily on this wonderful community for support!" She absolutely LOVES the outdoors... hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming. And over the last few years she has started getting into running. And admits that she necessarily doesn't love running, but she loves how it makes her feel.
