She then discerned religious life on the Lifetime reality television program The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns. She is now married with two children and speaks at Catholic events throughout the country. Six Jesuit priests (John de Brébeuf, Isaac Jogues, Noel Chabanel, Anthony Daniel, Charles Garnier, and Gabriel Lalemant) and two lay assistants (René Goupil and Jean de la Lande) evangelized native peoples in North America and were martyred between 1624 and 1649 - five in present Canada and three in New York.

Micole Amalu described "10 Myths About Mental Health in the Church" during our October 5, 2020 Theology on Tap. Amalu is the founder and main content creator for the Face of Mercy, a Catholic mental health advocacy organization. 

Theology on Tap is a monthly speaker series for young adults. These events occur on the first Monday of every month at Murphy's Grand Irish Pub in Old Town Alexandria.
