I used to have a lazy man’s mindset. I’d only do things that were within my comfort zone. Doing the bare minimum. The unfortunate thing is this concept took hold of every aspect of my life. My job performance suffered, my love life suffered and my kids suffered because Daddy was doing the bare minimum in everything. It was all about MY comfort level.

That was until I read the book, The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone. That book lit a fire under me and snapped me out of my comfort coma. I became a beast at doing nothing but work and enjoying the fruits of my labor.

Ever since reading that book, my motto is DO MORE. When you think you’ve done enough, DO MORE. When you think it’s impossible to go oo, DO MORE.

The challenge can feel daunting when wanting to make a career change at this stage in your life. It almost feels as though you're trapped with no way out. My trasp was the 9-5. I didn’t like working solely for bills. I felt like my life was worth more than working to get a paycheck and living for Friday and Saturday night. I dreaded Mondays and I hated my situation.

I just couldn't get any traction. But something awesome happened to me and it was a life changing event. I signed release papers from Schaumburg School District 54 in Schaumburg, Illinois USA due to some extenuating circumstances.

It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I became aware of what I wanted in life and I went for it. Period. I went all-in and never looked back. You can learn from my journey.
