There was an idea that I learned about while I was in college. It came to me again just recently. I wanted to share this idea with you and expand on it when it comes to how to support our own mental health. Also, happy Mental Health Awareness Month! I have linked a few websites below that I find very helpful. You deserve to be here!

I recently read an idea from the book The Whole-Brain Child and it talked about the idea of a "river of well-being". This was an idea that seemed really clear to me and I want to share it with you in episode 117. Where do you find yourself on the river? Ask yourself this question, without judgment, and let's see where we take it from there!

Trying meditation was something I never gave much thought to. Recently, that changed. In episode 116 I wanted to share the start of meditation for me and how it feels so far. Beyond just meditation, the overarching theme of mental health is something we need to take care of for ourselves. I hope you have a lovely day! Below is the link to the guided meditation video I use each morning!

Keeping things in perspective isn't always possible. For me, in 2018, it wasn't possible at all. Fast forward to 2021 and I feel personal growth inside me. I'm not an expert and I have a lot of growing left to do (I believe for life), but can feel the light inside me. I wanted to share three things that helped me with my growth on perspective with you. I hope you feel a connection!

When you feel like you can't push through anymore what does that make you? I'm going with human. That's my answer. On episode 113 I wanted to talk about this idea of burnout and how it can impact more than one area of our lives. Let's chat!

The middle can look different for all of us. The middle is a place I like to think of as the "rocky moments" on our way to goals, objectives, or anything else that we want to get to. What happens when our emotions and energy shift away from that place? Let's talk about it on episode 112!

Taking two steps forward can be followed by 1 step backward. Have you heard that before? What happens when we look at that step backward in a different way? Let's talk about it on episode 111!

There's someone who gets overlooked a lot by most people. But, what happens when we slow down and ask them how they are? Good things. That's what. Let's talk through this on episode 110.

As the title hints, episode 109 draws inspiration from a documentary I recently watched. This episode centers around human connection and how I believe mental health can be talked about more comfortably for all of us. I hope you enjoy!
