We haven’t done anything like this yet so we’re interested to hear from you if this is something you like.

We reached out to a very special lady named Heather Hawes who attended our Be That 1% Live Event in October of 2017. James picked Heather out in the crowd of people and asked her to join him on stage. Little did she know it would change her life.

We wrote to our audience after the event asking what were some of their highlights and biggest takeaways from the event and 100% of the responses had mentioned Heather’s transformation on stage.

She talked about her depression and James coached her live on stage in front of everyone. Afterwards it was like a completely different person had emerged out of her.

So we thought … where is heather now 100 days later? Did the event make a big enough impact to have lasting effects on her life and depression.

Well you’re about to see for yourself because we asked her to come on the podcast and share her experience with you.

The second half of this episode is James & her doing a one-on-one coaching session. So you’ll get the opportunity to listen in on what goes on during a coaching a session and hopefully take away pieces that can impact you.

Michael is involved in rebranding the Las Vegas city through incorporating more Tech and Entrepreneurship opportunities. He co-organized Las Vegas Startup Weekend and is heavily involved in TechStars and VegasTech.

Michael Grema is known for creating and fostering meaningful relationships that create great impact. Michael is the founder of TEDxUNLV and oversees TEDxLasVegas. He travels all over for many TEDTalks and conventions and values the ability to make a connection with people he doesn’t know and create a relationship with them.

James & Michael talk about the power of authenticity in getting to know people; how you need to be open and vulnerable first if you’re wanting to make a connection. They also talk about the concept of competition vs. collaboration and trying to find the synergy between the two. They dive in deep into leaders from history and how we can learn lessons from them.

Michael gives insight on finding mentors, why iron sharpens iron, and how your future self should inspire you.

How many times have you been obsessed over the thought of you failing or getting something wrong

How many times have you missed an opportunity or done something so stupid, that you thought there was no recovering from that situation?

How many of you are playing it safe because it’s comfortable and are afraid to take the next step because you’re unsure of what might happen?

We’ll let me tell you a little secret … no matter what you’ve done … no matter how bad you think it is … no matter how devastating your problem might be … it’s not done.

And because it’s not done you can still work to make it right.

You can’t get it wrong because you can’t get it done.

The moment it becomes done is the moment your life ends.

But until that point, you have time to do what you have to do.

So get over the fact that you think you’re a failure.

Get away from the friends that remind you of that everyday.

Find a new group of people to hang with.

Stand up.

Get clear on your direction.

Get to work.
