Being single is a tough experience that everyone will experience at some points or even many stages in their lives. I know that we all desire to be with someone we love, to share experiences, adventures together, to hangout at family gatherings, family holidays, to have someone to share time with on Friday or Saturday nights.
We don’t like feeling alone on the weekend. When we see our friends, people on social media getting married, that makes us question ourselves about self-worth. However, single time is the most important time that gives us the opportunity to work on our improvement journey, to focus on our visions, our dreams, and what we truly want.
We have to experience loneliness, sadness, frustration, disappointment, before we can taste a feeling of happiness and success.
Being single is not fun, but it does come with some benefits. You can either focus on why being single is sucked, terrible, not good, or something to avoid, or you can focus on what good it brings to your life.
But after all, remember being single is TEMPORARY, and you will find a special person at the point that you are unexpected. DON’T SETTLE!
