For the fourth month in a row- feedlot inventories fell in the January first USDA Cattle on Feed Report. Oklahoma Farm Reports Ron Hays talked with OSU Extension Livestock Market Economist Dr. Derrell Peel about the numbers, all of which were under year ago levels.

Oklahoma State University Extension Livestock Market Economist Dr. Derrell Peel says that the final Cattle on Feed Report of 2022 was generally in line with what the pre report guesses were. Perhaps the only descrepancy was a slightly higher placement number than the average per report guess.
