This week we are talking about the Beelitz Heilstatten hospital in Beelitz, Germany.The hospital was built originally in 1898 to be used as a tuberculosis hospital and would stay open and operational in one aspect or another until 1995. In the time between 1989 and 1995 it would be used for a military hospital for Germany during WWI and WWII and then after would be used by the Soviets. After the fall of the Soviet empire it would be used as a center for people with neurological issues. After it closed it has become a hot spot for urban explorers, ghost hunters and something more sinister... So join us on our tour through history!
