Terrifier 3 debuted at number 1 with $18.3M domestically and nearly $5M internationally. On a budget of only $2M, an opening weekend total of $23.1M makes Terrifier 3 likely to be the most profitable movie of the year.
The Wild Robot grossed another $13.5M domestically, keeping a strong momentum in its 3rd week.
Joker: Folie a Deux saw an unfortunate 81% drop in the domestic market with only $7M, making for the highest 2nd week drop of a comic book movie.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in its 6th week was only a hair behind, also with $7M in the domestic market, where its total has now passed $275M.
Piece by Piece, a lego documentary, debuted to $3.8M.
My Hero Academia the Movie: You’re Next debuted with just over $3M domestically.
And The Apprentice grossed $1.58M from 1740 screens.
